For anyone following this thread, I had a reply back from Dusseldorf stadtarchive. They will search for my questions and when they have an answer, they send me a bill- minimum 25 Euros. When I pay, they send the info to me.

Thanks for that. I have now found she had two brothers. What I can't find is anything to do with who she married in 1922 - to Kurt Kroke, my Grand Father.

Thanks, I have already managed to find that.... I should add that the Kroke family left Beuthen when the Russians invaded in WW2 , making their way, finally, to Fassburg in Germany.
Can anybody tell me what'district' Beuthen comes under? Is it Silesia ?
