Chciałabym szukać moja rodzina ze strony prababci w Galicji, teraz w Ukrainie.Hi. My name is Kimberly Justyna. I'm 24 years old and I live in Michigan. My great grandmother, Marya Sławko, went from Galicia to America in 1913. My great grandpa, Franciszek Górski, also came from Poland to America in 1913, but I don't know where he was born...I think around Warsaw. They met in Philadelphia. I would like to find my great grandma's family in Galicia, which is now Western Ukraine.
*Marya Sławko (my great grandma) was born in Turówka, Galicia on 1 Jan 1896. Her parents are Grzegorz Sławko from Łuka Mała and Antonina Głuszko from Faszczówka. Grzegorz & Antonina had 5 children, all of whom were born in the village of Turówka:
1) *Marya Sławko (ur. 1 Jan 1896 - zm. 10 Dec 1958)
~ married Franciszek Górski September 1917 w Ameryce.
2) Anna Sławko (ur. 8 July 1899 - zm. 3 Mar 1941)
~ married Józef Weszka on 19 Sept. 1920
~ had a child named Antonina Weszka (ur. 24 or 31 Oct 1924)
~ Antonina Weszka married a Franciszek Szymczyszyn on 11 Nov 1941.
3) Katarzyna Sławko (ur. 22 Jan 1902)
~ married Józef Ossowski on 14 July 1931.
4) Tekla Sławko (ur. 1904)

5) Piotr Sławko (ur. 6 Oct 1910)
~ married Paulina Kowalczuk on 12 July 1931.
Some other information I found in the Turówka village microfilm. There are 2 babies named:
Józef Gliński born in 1939 and Stanisław Gliński born 17 Nov. 1943 are both sons of Andrzej Gliński and Katarzyna Sławko.
I'm assuming that my ancestors might still be in that area considering the microfilm ends at 1946 and there is still my Sławko family there. So the grandchildren of the people listed above my still be there.
I'd appreciate any help with how to search to see if they are still there. They could be in Turówka, Tarnoruda, Faszczówka, Łuka Mała, or Kaczanówka.
