Dolores S. Zwir, 88, formerly of Croghan Street, died July 12, at Bethesda Care Center.
She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the now-deceased Otis and Margaret (Neilon) Streeter. She married Walter Zwir on Oct. 19, 1946, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1995.
Dolores was employed by Union Carbide as a pay master, retiring in 1978 after 40 years of service.
She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a 1934 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Dolores is survived by her sister, Marian Sisi, Port Clinton; sisters-in-law, Amelia Ochs and Mary Perkins, both of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home and Crematory.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Omer Rethinger officiating.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery.
