Thank you for giving me the church record links for Sonsk. I will use those links to see if I can find more information on my Damiecki and other ancestors. As for Felix Niesluchowski, I strongly think the names of his parents listed on his american death certificate are incorrect. This is just a gut feeling because I haven't been able to find concrete evidance to prove it. The only proof I have is that I have not been able to find a Leon and Mariam in polish records who gave birth to a Felix in 1882-1883. I strongly believe that Jan and Marianna from winnica are his parents but as I mentioned, there is no proof to the fact. That is why I continue my desperate search for a Leon and Mariam in Gnaty. Here is another question I have for you. Is the Sonsk area considered to be in the Gnaty area? If not, then my Felix is not from the Sonsk area. Anyway, thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

You are welcome. According to Google maps, the distance from Winnica to Sonsk is about 20 miles. I would consider this as a second option, since Felix declared he was from Gnaty.

I have one more favor to ask. I located a village names Gnaty that is about 7km north east of Ostroleka. Maybe my Felix could be from this area. Can you give me the link for church parishs in that area and any links that have documents accessable. Thank you. Joe

I was not able to locate any online records for that Gnaty and another one in gmina Gozdowo, powiat sierpecki.

I think that it is parish in Ostrołęka Nawiedzenia NMP (Fara) -Visiting Mary The Virgin. The parish includes, among others village Gnaty http://www.kuria.lomza.pl/index.php?wiad=218
