Hi there,
My great-grandfather Wladyslaw Lewandowski born the 1st May 1882 in Setropie, Poland. He was the son of Josefa Lewandowski and Maryanny Kalinowski. I found this information from his death record and marriage record in Chicago. Someone told me to order the LDS film for Drobin, but I found out that it does not have the town of Setropie on the film.
Would anyone know which film I have to order to my great-grandfather's birth record?
I found a Jozef Jankoski born in Setropie and baptized in Rogotwórsk on the web as a clue, but I would like to here somone's opinion so that I do not order the wrong film again.

LDS Films
Hello Daniel,
According to my polish map there is a small parish called Rogotworsk to the east of Malachowo. I checked on the LDS records for Rogotworsk and it doesn't mention Setropie. I agree that it could well be under this parish (Rogotworsk).
I have had to "guess" which film to send for on a number of occasions, sometimes you have to send for several before getting the correct one.
Over here the films cost £2-70p so its not too expensive.

Arnes Attenborough ( nee Kathke )
