Spelling of Schewinski/Przelenski

Does anyone know what database Przespolew's records would be grouped into? I'm curious to see if they've been scanned in. The record's have act #'s, so I have a little bit more hope.

Found a record in the 1st Wheeling WV registry in 1882, under the name John Schauwonske. Has the same address as his brother-in-law Michael Sonnefeld. I had found that Przelenski sounded more like Schewinki, and had found several relatives that kept the Schewinski name. But I didn't know it went back that far. From the 1900 census it said he arrived in 1881. Interesting, I was wondering if that would change the actual Polish spelling, knowing it sounded like "pschewonske". I also thought he was wealthy on arrival, but now have started to think he made his money in the US. It took him 16 years to start building. Maybe him and his wife, his brother, mother in law, and 2 brother in laws saved together. Finding them in Wheeling that far back is not what I expected. I still think they were from Przespolew, but have yet to get any response to emails.

In geneteka, woj wielkopolskie, there is a large number of people in Przespolew by the name of Przyłęcki. Could this be the original name? It surely sounds like pschywonski.

There is a Jan born in 1857 and Franciszek born in 1861.

Unfortunately these files have not been scanned yet, they are available for viewing at the archives of Poznań (1808 -1874) and Kalisz (1875-1906). Also LDS microfilms

Nika, thanks for the information. A few questions, if a wedding happened in 1879-1881, I believe it would be in Cyrillic writing? What would Przyłęcki look like in that writing? And his wife's name Sonnefeld/Sonnefeldt/Sonnenfeldt? I'm trying to locate the marriage certificate but no names seem to match, unless the names looked different at that time. I found one relative, Rzeszotarski, in 1879, and his name was unrecognizable to me in that language. I'm wondering if their names also looked different at the time of marriage.

Starting from 1868 all records in Królestwo Polskie were in Russian.
In Cyrillic alphabet, Przyłęcki would look something like Пржыленцкий,
Sonnenfeld - Зонненфельд or Соненфельд.
The birth records I mentioned might be in Latin alphabet.
