Is it possible to use this forum to see if there are any family members on here of the Wojciechowski/Glowicka family from Krzynowloga Wielka? I've finally tracked my ancestors down and was hoping to make contact with any relatives who may still be living in the area. I'm not sure if they would be able to read English, so could someone translate this message to polish in the hopes that I'll get a reply.
Thank you. I'm new to this site and I don't know if this is acceptable. My apologies if it's not and my thanks if it is.
Thank you,
Margie Wojciechowski Swecker

Dear Margie, yes, people do use this site to locate their relatives and that's perfectly fine. You would, however, do much better if you placed this post under "Nazwisko" (Surname) subforum indicating the surnames you are looking for in the title.
Some corrections: you seem not to be aware that you twist personal and geographical names by replacing Polish characters with their closest basic Latin counterparts. I guess you got these names from something like Ellis Island Records. E.g., Krzynowloga Wielka is Krzynowłoga Wielka and Glowicki is most probably Głowicki/Głowicka depending on the gender. Use this site for clues as to possible original spelling:

Now, here is the (loose) translation for you:
Czy można skorzystać z tej strony w celu skontaktowania się z członkami rodzin Wojciechowskich i Głowickich z Krznowłogi Wielkiej? Wreszcie udało mi się odnaleźć przodków i chciałabym się skontaktować z życjącymi w tych okolicach krewnymi. Jeśli to możliwe, proszę o odpowiedź po angielsku.
At the end I added a sentence you ask for a message in English, if possible.
Also, consider that Wojciechowski is a very common surname here; there are many unrelated families of that name. Probably Głowicki is a better marker.
If you get any sensible response in Polish, you are welcome to ask me for translation on private e-mail.
