In the village Chorzele on 24 May/5 June 1899 at 6:00 AM came Francis Wojciechowski farmer 23 y. o. with two witness Valerian Seprutka 45 y. o. and Joseph Siedlecki 30 y. o. , both of them living in Zagoty He presented the infant declaring that he was born yesterday at 8.00PM by his spouse Frances maiden name Glowicka 23 y. o. On this day the baby was baptized and given name Anthony.

Thank you so much for the translation. Can you tell me why the date of birth reads 24May/5 June ? I noticed several birth records have two dates like this. Is it true that Polish tradition does not have middle names for their children?

Since June 1868 part of Poland under Russia rule used Julian and Gregorian Calendar.

We have middle names but no body pay attention. Also if Pastor likes he recommended.
