The name is "Eichwalde", however originally ca 1802 it was "Dembien". In 1905-1910 it had a population of about 348, of whom roughly 314 were Polish-speaking and Catholic and 34 German-speaking and Protestant. The nearest registry office was in Rybno to the South-East. The Catholic parish in Rumian, just to the North of Dembien. Protestants belonged to the parish in the town of Lobau. Good luck! Witek
