Hello Im Tony new on here, Im trying to find more about my grandfather Antoni Wojciechowski who live in ul Olbrachta Torun Poland, he died when my father was 5 year's old, my father died 2 year's ago, there is none of my father's side left now, I just liked to know what he looked like, can any one help me. your's Tony Dziekuje

Hello, I do not think you have shown your grandfathers surname, if posted this may generate potential responses from others researching the same or similar names. I have found this site useful and have also used the LDS ( Latter Day Saints ) web sites, also Pomorskie Towarzystwo Genealogiczne.

I also live in England ( Lichfield Staffs ).

Hello Tony - Noticed that you had added to your posted note. Another tip that might help is to replace it with a new posting showing your grandfathers surname in the title - so as people scan the page they will immediately see the name Wojciechowski. Have you any info to add re your grandmothers name or details - this has worked for me in the past. Any birth/marriage/death dates will help.

Very difficult to help you, as in this town of Torun in 2009 Poland are living many Poles surnamed Wojciechowski - according to Polish phone directory there are 38 Wojciechowski's, their phone numbers you can find with Polish ph book on-line" www.ksiazka-telefoniczna.com - in "Miasto" type Toruń, in "Nazwisko" type Wojciechowski (Unfortunately, very strict Polish law protecting personal data is not giving right to place openly the full postal address, although, all our neighbours in Europe are making it). Anyway, let's hope any Wojciechowski's from Torun will see your message and reply.
