clothing and dress of ancestors 18th and 19th centuries

Hello my Genealoodzy friends,

In the process of searching and finding my ancestors records I have always wondered what did they look like? Were beards common in the period from say 1775-1850? Even more so what did they clothes they wear look like? I have many ancestors that came from the areaaround Wilno, and one side is all peasants the other side are mostly od the szlachta, I guess I am just curious if there are illustrations or pictures of what my peasant and noble ancestors would have looked like.
