I am doing research on my family and found brothers and sisters of my great great great grandfather being baptized his parish. I'm trying to locate the marriage record for the parents and have been unable to find it. I was wondering what parishes are in the vicinity of Szwarcenowo .Any help would be appreciated.

Witam! Najbliżej parafii Szwarcenowo, znajduje się parafia Krotoszyny, lub Jamielnik. Jeśli są to lata odległe to z tych parafii księgi, prawdopodobnie znajdują się w AA w Toruniu.

"4xgreat" most likely means XIXth century. The Catholic parishes near Szwarcenowo were located mostly to the East (Radomno), West (Święte/Schwenten and Biskupiec/Bischofswerder) and South (again Biskupiec/Bischofswerder and Skarlin in South-East). Szynwałd and Płowęż were also large nearby parishes (to the West), as well as Łąkorz - a daughter church of Lipinki/Lippinken. Northwise in the Rosenberg county/landkreis there were very few Catholics, aside from Mozgowo/Mosgau. That is because historically Kreis Rosenberg had been part of Ducal/East Prussia which converted to Protestantism. Most Catholics belonged to the parish of Ilawa/Eylau.
