Woman married to brothers? Kowalczyk Ploniawy parish

Hello,

I have a little mystery. I was searching for a family I know is in my family history in Ploniawy. The woman's name is Katarzyna Kowalczyk. I found 2 children from a marriage I knew of, to Pawel Jakubiak. Then I searched for her alone, and discovered she was also had 3 children with a Stanislaw Jakobiak. Could Pawel and Stanislaw have been brothers? Did that happen then or was it rare?

I am including links to 2 of the births. One by Pawel, 1 by Stanislaw. I'd love to know if they were brothers.

I think these are two diffrent pairs- Stanisław Jakubiak and Katarzyna Kowalczyk (married Krasnosielc 1844 nr 24) – look at the age of Stanisław and Katarzyna in this act and in the acts of bitrths of their children. And second one Paweł Jakubiak and Katarzyna Kocięska (Kurwalczyk/ Kowalczyk) (married Płoniawy 1851 nr 27).

Also I can not see any act of death of Stanisław Jakubiak at Krasnosielc 1851-1852

Pawel and Stanislaw were brothers, but their wife Katarzyna Kowalczyk was not the same person

Also,
If you examine the 2 marriage certificates you discover that the two Katarzyna’s have different parents, and are therefore not the same person.
In 1844 in the parish of Krasnosielc, marriage record #24, states that the groom was Stanisław Jakubiak, age 30, and the bride was the widow Katarzyna Langoska nee Kowalczyk age 33, and her parents were Roch and Elżbieta.
In 1851 in the parish of Płoniawy, marriage record #27, states that the groom was Paweł Jakubiak age 23, and the bride was the widow Katarzyna Kocięcka nee Kurowalczyk , age 30, and her parents were Jan and Bregida.

Interestingly, Stanisław and Paweł were brothers.
Stanisław was born in 1821 record #93 in Grądy, parish of Krasnosielc.
Paweł was born in 1828 record #78 in Grądy, parish of Krasnosielc.
Both had the parents, Jan Jakubiak and Krystyna Bednarczyk.

Thank you all so much. I thought they were brothers but marrying the same woman seemed off! This explains it all.
