Please tell me when your grandfather was allowed to get married.
If I understand correctly, your father Henryk was born on August 19, 1936. I will be calling the Registry Office in Białowieża next week.

Why allowed to get married? Was an allowance necessary at the time? Unfortunately I do not know when they got married so far.

I had a typo above: my father was born on October 8th 1936 in Bialowieza.

And I found out more about my grandmother. Her parents must have been Marianna (died 1930) and Alexander (died 1951) Weremczuk. Both are buried in Hajnowka.
