Nasz kolega z Brazylii zamieścił post w dwóch częściach.
Jedna znajduje się tutaj
Druga jest z linkiem do kopii odpisu aktu urodzenia Stanisława Chmiela , syna Albina i Anny i znajduje się w temacie : Akt zgonu 1914 rok par. Królików .......
Wykryłem to klikając w profil i wchodząc w tamten wpis.
Dlatego zamieściłem wpis ze ścieżką do aktu urodzenia Stanisława, aktu ślubu jego rodziców itd.
W odpisie jest wyraźnie Albin ( być może używał imienia Antoni)

I've been looking for their names on basically every single site I can think of, but there are things that don't match most of the time.
I've heard someone say he's name was Albin before, but we all just assumed it was a mistranslation due to the old cyrrilic characters - the name "antoni" is quite common in our family (granda was antônio, brother's second name is antônio...). So everyone just assumed it was Anton
I DID find the registry of their arrival in Brazil, seems like Anna and Albin did come with my great grandfather.
But I can say for sure, for real, that they did NOT stay here. Stanislaw himself grew up with only one brother around.
They left hamburg at around sept 14 1911 and arrive at Rio dec 19 1911
On the same ship's name list I could confirm an old family tale - Stanislaw was said to have married a woman that came to Brazil at the same time... And there she was (Michalina / later Miguelina - my great grandmother) and her mother, Karolina - they were registered as having "Rusin" for surname, but I'm quite sure, in this case, that they just did not know the word for surname in german/portuguese, thus thought people were asking where were they from... Not surprisingly, Michalina and Karolina themselves both had their original surname by the time they died: "Janeczko"
Anyway, anyone knows what might have happened to these people?
I THINK Albin and Anna went back, but could not find anything about it...
