Help wanted to find out Polish roots Pawlikowski and Babiak

I come from Holland and am married with a Polish lady.
I'm working on my familytree. From my dutch side I have found very much information and documents related to my ancestors. I'm struggeling to find any information or documents from my wife's ancestors

This is what I have/know from her mothers side

Dear Richard ,
Did you try to meet with the oldest members of you wife’s family and ask them about family history? Also Maria Kielbasa probably was not born in 1818 if she died in 1991. It is more than 170 years of life.
Did you consider visiting polish state archives and church parishes to find documents? Would be worth to visit Jelenia Góra, Opole, Stary Sącz. Did you ask your wife to do DNA test for genealogical purpose ?

After quick search for Ludwik Pawlikowski in Lesser Voivodeship Poland, Poronin Parish, there is only one: Ludwik Pawlikowski born in Biały Dunajec, however, the birth date is not matching - 13.06.1897, son of Bartłomiej Pawlikowski and Katarzyna Majerczyk.

Certificates prior to 1890 are not available on Geneteka. I highly doubt these two are same individual. Better ask in either parish or archiwum.diecezja.pl. They should be available there.
As for Maria, I believe you made a simple mistake and she was born 1918 and not 1818
Also get in touch with cemeteries management. I received death certificates of my ancestors with their detailed data.

As far as I have understood from family Ludwik Pawlikowski is the son of

Woyciech Sas Pawlikowski
born 1837 Bialy Dunajec
died 1925 Stary sacz

What I also know is that Ludwik Pawlikowski as Maria Kielbasa both have had 2 or 3 mariages

There is indeed another Ludwig Pawlikowski (born 1896). Til now as far as I know this person is not related.
I also happen to believe that this person died in Smolensk in 1940

Digging a little deeper in the Pawlikowski / Pawlikowska family.
On the grave of her great-grandfather is written Sas-Pawlikowski

Dear Richard,

I am a member of the family. I do remember Ludwik Pawlikowski from Stary Sacz, his house and two his daughters. Your wife is a daughter of Zofia.
I have seen Zofia only once. It was long ago when she visited my parents.
Ludwik Pawlikowski was a son of Wojciech Pawlikowski. Wojciech Pawlikowski has a sister Antonina Pawlikowska. She married Włodzimierz Pawlowski.
Antonina and Włodzimierz were my grand grandparents.
I am still looking for ancestors from Pawlikowski family. I found that the father
of Wojciech Pawlikowski (1837-1925) was Franciszek Pawlikowski.
