I am hoping someone is able to help locate a lost family member. The sister of Gunter Pollak left West Germany in 1959, and resided in Australia. She lost contact with her brother after leaving.
She was born in Brieg, Kreis Breslau in 1928.
We have little information on Gunter and their parents. We are very thankful for any help you can offer. Her children and grandchildren would like to know about her family, both prior to the War, and any descendants.

Mam nadzieję, że ktoś jest w stanie pomóc w odnalezieniu zaginionego członka rodziny. Siostra Gunter Pollak lewej RFN w 1959 r., mieszkał w Australii. Straciła kontakt z bratem po opuszczeniu.
Urodziła się w Brieg, Kreis Breslau w 1928 roku.
Mamy mało informacji na temat Gunter i ich rodziców. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni za wszelką pomoc możesz zaoferować. Jej dzieci i wnuki chciałbym się dowiedzieć o swojej rodzinie, zarówno przed wojną, i potomstwa.

Very difficult to help you with so limited info. All I can tell is as follows:
1. If your Gunter Pollak was the German, then, as you know it, he left the city of Brieg after WWII, as this part of Germany was given to Poland after Jalta political pact. If yes, you must search him in Germany.
2. If your Gunter Pollak was Polish, then you must know in this city in 2010 Poland named as BRZEG are living few Poles surnamed Polak:
Adam Polak
Barbara Polak
Halina Polak
Helena Polak
Marianna Polak

From the papers we have from her emigration to Australia with her husband, German is her nationality at birth. She also married a German in Bergzabern in 1952. We do not know if Gunter was with her at the time. We do not know her movements from birth until 1952. We are quite sure she was in forced labour, but are unaware of where.
Her family is not found in the 1937 Brzeg address book, so I fear they had moved by that time.

Nie wiemy, jej ruchy od urodzenia aż do 1952 roku. Jesteśmy pewni, była w pracy przymusowej, ale nie wie, gdzie.
