My name is Patrick Marchwick,
I live in Owatonna, Minnesota USA.
I am son of John Marchwick

1 am the grandson of Michael Marchwicki (born in USA)

I am the Great grandson of Valentine Marchwicki (born in poland 8 february 1850), married to Josephine Elizebeth Kuwaja (born feb 24, 1854)

that is where my search stops.
I cannot find any information on Valentine Marchwicki yet in Poland.

I have not been able to figure out this web site real good yet and any help would be appriciated

We would like to help you, but still you have not the main info in all genealogical search, the exact name of the place where your Michael Marchwicki (the right spelling in Polish is Michal~ Marchwicki) was originated from old Poland (in the 19th century Poland was divided into Russia, Prussia-Germany, and Austria-Hungary Empire).

All genealogical databases in Europe including Poland are basing on the exact location.

Please find it with the US databases, family documents, immigration ship manifest (for eg with EI using search tool: http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/eidb/ellis.html ); his naturalization documents in the US, SS-5, his and all family records with the ethnic church in the US after immigration, etc.
