According to the Russian classification, there were 3 noble families with the surname Lewoniewski in the Grodno region (Part 1, Part 2, Part 6 of the russian genealogy book).
The short list of noble families (1900) from Wikipedia.
RGIA 1343-51-685 ("РГИА Ф. 1343 Оп. 51 Д. 685") is a list of nobles of the Grodno region.
My official copies, high-quality, up to 60 MB per tiff-file.
The surname Lewoniewski is mentioned 3 times (my official copies):
file 203=Part 1
file 205=Part 6 and Part 2
file 753=Part 6
If you read only file 203 and file 205:
Part 6=the ancestors of the pilots, from Volkovysk district
Part 2=the family of generals, from Volkovysk district (general "Александр Александрович" Aleksander, syn Aleksandra)
Part 1=the separate noble family
But in the 752 file:
Part 6=general "Александр Юрьевич" Aleksander, syn Jerzego
Father in part 6 since 1832 (or 1843). Son in part 2 since 1849. I don't understand...
Herbarz Seweryna Uruskiego:
LEWONIEWSKI h. GOZDAWA=Part 6 and Part 2 of the genealogy book
LEWONIEWSKI h. STRZEMIĘ=Part 1 of the genealogy book
LEWONIEWSKI h. STRZEMIĘ. Wiktor, syn Piotra, wylegitymowany w Cesarstwie 1863 roku i zapisany do ksiąg szlachty okręgu białostockiego.
Lewoniewski (h. STRZEMIĘ or Part 1) was separate noble family (not the ancestors of pilots and not the ancestors of generals).
The family of pilots and the family of generals could have a common ancestor.
