I made an assumption that the correct form of Jeszkowice is Jaśkowice. The main source to research such questions is the Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland and other Slavic Countries. You may use it yourself through this link:

Since you don't speak Polish I translated for you the gist of it.
Jaśkowice 1.) or Jaszkowice, Jastkowice. A village on the left bank of the San [river], [….] in Tarnobrzeg county [powiat], belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Pysznica….

2.) Jaśkowice with Pasieka, a village on the right bank of the Vistula, on the road from Skawina to Zator, in Wadowice county, belongs to the Roman-Catholic parish of Pobiedr….
Pobiedr was absorbed by Paszkówka and that's where the parish is today:

You will notice another entry for Jaśkowice below, but that one pertains to a village in Opole district that did not belong to Poland before WWII, so we may exclude from consideration for now.
Please note that of the two above possibilities the first one seems more promising due the then functioning variant of the name in the form Jaszkowice. That's where I would start.

My knowledge of the resources of the parishes in Southern Poland is next to nothing. But there are members here who specialize in these areas and will certainly be happy to help. So if there is no immediate response in this thread, repost a question about the location of the metric books from these two parishes under another thread.

One last thing – the name Zinowja is probably distorted form of Zenobia or some other name. Consider this when searching for the birth record.

One question - do you think Zinowja was literate? What makes me wonder is the digraph "sz" in Jeszkowice. The city officer would not write it out of his own incentive. One may speculate that the spelling was suggested by the notifying person, i.e., the person who came to mayor's office to announce the birth. Who do you think this might be? And how reliable the data are?

Yes good question, I searched all the documents. She abandoned her child (my mother) but she never signed any paper!
I am hoping to find some information about the emigration in France of that time at the Polish library in Paris, she didn't come as a farm worker under the agreement France/Poland like most polish women.Knowledge about her emigration circumstances might help. Apparently working as a maid could indicate that she might have been educated, but no garantee.

I have ponder a lot over that spelling question.
About the reliability of the document : the original birth certificate is hand written and completed by the same hand. The script version is signed and dated 1926 (in France script is a copy of the handwritten which is in gothic style of the time)
The birth is confirmed by the doctor, is he the one who made the declaration? It is not clear.
I agree with you, it appear that some data might be incorrect and only the experts from here could start to see clearly what it is!

Why don't you try to access the resources of passport office? She must have been registered with the authorities somehow. Do you know what was her later fate? The plot develops into a thriller.

They should know at least where the copies of the metric books are kept. The church was rebuilt after the fire in 1914. So probably the unikats went with the smoke. But the copies should have survived.

I guess they should manage a message in English, perhaps in French, who knows. Let me know if you need help.

The records of the town district where she worked burnt down during the war. I think the option is to find some emigration administrative records at the port entry, that knowledge doesn't appear to be easy to find.

You need to log in to genpol.com to gain password and access, then you can browse the certificates under AP_Koszalin / AP_Słupsk_USC-Standesämter
The certificates are in German, as this was Germany before 1945.

Thank you for your help, I consulted the whole year of 1898 and 1899, checking the names of the parents as well as Firstnames of the children on each page but have found nothing. Curiously not one name that sounds or looks like Zinowja from close or far.
Is the other name Jezdkowice part of the Czech Republic today?
