Nika,

Thank you for looking again, still no sign of my Wincenty unless he died elsewhere. There is one last section of Suderwa deaths 1911-1915. So if he isn't here he either lived past age 78 or passed away elsewhere.

Hugh

Nika,

Well I guess that seals it, either He lived well into his 70's+ or died in another parish, although I find it more likely he probably died sometime after 1915, especially given the tragic history of this area from 1915 well through the Polish-Bolshevik War that followed WWI.
I have found evidence however that the youngest son of Wincenty and Anna emmigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina as oposed to where my great grandfather Jozef Michalkiewicz moved to (Connecticut, USA). I look forward to future cooperation as your help has been so essential to my current successes :-)

Warm regards,

Hugh

Greetings to all,

I have recently found these images through the Geneteka portion of this very website they relate to a particular generation of my Michalkiewicz ancestors from Suderwa. I was looking for dates of death of my 2nd great grandfathers siblings. I am looking to see if these death records listed are in fact the siblings of my Wincenty Pawel Michalkiewicz.

The parents of Wincenty and his siblings were Marcin and Marianna (Marcjanna) Subotowicz Michalkiewicz.

I know for a fact that his sisters Urszula, Petronela and Marianna married men with the names listed on the death records. Warmest thanksnyone who can help soitively identify these people as my 2nd great grandfathers siblings

Warm regards,

Hugh

Thank You so much for responding so quickly. The two #1 records are certainly my 2nd great grandfather's sisters. Their age and maiden names prove it. Are the surving children listed in Urszula Sakowicz and Marianna Tatol's records?

Warm regards,

Hugh
