Hello, Everyone is so helpful on this site. Thank you again for all your help! I have more translations. It helps me to put pieces together for my family names that I never knew in Poland. My parents came to the USA in 1950's then died in my age of years in my 20's about 30 years ago.. My parents had children here in USA and here I am trying to search for names .

Rzeczywiście, ten wątek snuje się na podforum dla języków obcych. Nie zauważyłem tego poprzednio.

I believe Margiee asked about etymology of name Chaczyk, not the place of origin.
