l Perhaps the two old men sitting are brother ?
If we look the picture I think this is the groom's family on the rigth and the bride's family on the left.
The two old men are not brothers, because the brothers are never so alike if they are not twins.
The old man on the left side is elder than man on the right side ca 25 years. Such similarity is possible between father and son.
So , if the men are father and son,not any of them is grandfather of Ignacy and not any cuold be father of Ignacy(and your grandfather too).
Only two old people on the left side could be parents of Ignacy( and your grandfather). Two girls are elike this old woman , because they are hers
daughters.
Tell me where made I mistake ?

I think a families are mixed

what do you mean by the boy (ca 16) ? I don't understand
bezet pisze:MikMak pisze:about photo number 2 I don't know because I cannot say if the photo has taken in 1925 in Poland or in Germany ?
what is your opinion about that ? (if Jan is present it was 16).
About the photo 7, how can you say the man could be Jan ?
The wedding was probably at a village in Poland (1925).
Until IIWW at this territory of Poland lived Germans and Poles together
as the neighbours in villages. The wedding was in Poland but in German family, because on the plate they wrote "wedding" in German language-Hochzeit.
I think the bride and the groom were Pole and German or parents of young just married were good neighbours of Polish people and the Poles could be at this wedding as good neighbours of Germans.
On this photo (nr 2) the boy (ca 16) is alike to little boy(child on the family photo) and to man on the foto nr 7. Look at the child and at the boy with an optical glass enlarge ( I can't find correct ward) the photo-you will see similarity(likeness). I think that is the same person.

From my opinion :
- the old men sits next to the bride is his father and the woman standing next to him is his wife. (woman with string of pearls). Do you think the bride looks like this woman ?
- the old women sits close to the groom (Ignacy) is his grandmother, the man sits next to her is the Ignacy’s father and and woman standing next to him is his wife (Ignacy’s mother). The little child is Jan, beetwen is father and is grand grandmother.
From your opinion could you indicate on the photo who is who ?

I've already written all about these photos . I can't write anything new. About boy on the photo nr 2, he is 15-16, what do you not understand?
You ought to look at all these photos with a magnifying glass.
I think it will be good to write all possible versions on one piece of paper.
