Hilary Jacob Jozwick, 90, formerly of 1635 Service Drive, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 1, 1909 in Winona, to
Thomas and Catherine (Schultz) Jozwick. He married Louise F. Krenzke on June 21, 1939 in Winona. She died in 1989.
Hilary was a 1933 graduate of the University of Minnesota Pharmacy School.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Normandy and Northern France and was a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Survivors include one son, Henry (Judi) Jozwick of Hutchinson, MN; one daughter, Janet (Patrick) Thompson of Appleton, WI; and five grandchildren, Jason and Aran Jozwick, Ryan, Annika and Trevor Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 15 at Watkowski-Pronschinske Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph L. Keefe officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Neville Lien Post No. 1287 providing military rites.
