I'm looking for my relatives connected to my maternal great grandfather Wladyslaw Wojszel ( Войшель) ( 1897 - 1938) or his parents Wincenty Wojszel (1870-?) and Anna Dudzinska (1869 -1912). Wincenty Wojzsel has vanished in Moscow after his son's ( Wladyslaw) arrest and execution in 1938 during Stalin's Purge and we don't know what happened to him since then.

The Wojszel family came from the village of Dzieniewicze in the parish of Brzostowica Mała, now in Belarus. In the years 1865-1919 Dzieniewicze was in the parish of Krynki. Mentioned Wincenty Wojszel, born on In 1869 he married the widow Anna Fiedosiuk, née Dudzińska in 1893 / born in 1863 /. Wincenty and Anna had at least 7 children / Antoni, Józefa, Władysław, Mikołaj, Ryszard, Anna and Marta /. Anna née Dudziński died in 1912, these are your data, I wonder where, because I did not find such a death in the Krynki parish /. Thank you so so much for this information and its very important to me! I did not know about the destiny of my grandfather's uncle, Wiktor... This is so sad that lives of two brothers were taken by the same regime two years apart.

Wladyslaw Wojszel had two sons Boris (1921), my grandfather, and Wiktor (1924), both born in Moscow. After the Second World War my grandfather, Boris Wojszel, moved to Lithuania and then to Ukraine, whereas his brother continued living in Moscow, Russia.

In 2021, together with the Last Address Initiative, we were able to install a memorable plate in Moscow on the building, where my great-grandfather, Wladyslaw Wojszel, used to live before his arrest. Last Address installs these plates in a memory of Stalin's Purge victims.
