Good afternoon to all!
Please help me to read the metric about Vasily Filatow. Unfortunately, I don't understand anything in Polish.
Thanks to all for your help!
Can someone tell me where else I can find information about the Filatows who lived in Warsaw in 1800-1900?

Act №17

This is an act of birth of Vasily's daughter, Aleksandra.

17.05.1844 at 3 PM, Bielany near Warsaw

Vasily reported the birth and was described as a soldier of the niżuwski regiment, 3rd battalion, 6th company from a military camp near Bielany. He was 28 years old at that time.

There were two witnesses: Joachim Olesiów(?) 28 years old and Stefan Uwarów(?) 30 years old. Both were also soldiers from the niżuwski regiment.

The birth took place on 16.05.1844 at 3 PM and the mother was Ludwika of the Andrejów family, 25 years old.

The godparents were Jochim Olesiów (also the witness above) and Konstancja Kozłowska.

It's stated that nobody present during the writing of the act was able to write (which was pretty standard back then).

The surnames are rather hard to decipher, but I hope I did it properly. As for the regiment, I found something here, albeit it's in Polish: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_Ni%C5% ... k_Piechoty

They were Russians, they came to Poland as invaders. Their roots are worth looking for in Russian forums.

This map shows that only a few settled in Poland
