Need help to find my father's fiancée Helga Mühmelt

Hi, apologies for doing this in English, I do not speak Polish. Doing some family research, I found that in July 1944 my father was engaged to marry a woman called Helga Mühmelt born 5.II.1922 in Guhrau (today Góra). I believe that in the end years of WW2, they were separated, lost contact and my father eventually met and married my mother in 1952.
I would be interested to find out anything I can about Helga Mühmelt and would be grateful for any information or suggestions for further research. Regards, Peter Lochert

Thank you so much. Yes, Heinrich Mühmelt is Helga Mühmelt's father in her papers. I will follow the links.

Are you able to suggest how I could find out what happened to her? Are there Birth, Death and Marriage archives? I have searched whatever is available on-line and have not been successful. I understand that most records from that time would be from Church or Parish?
