At least 2 children of ythis family emigrate to USA. I know one of them - Agnieszka POTOCKA (10906-2009).
Does anybody have some data about the other children born in BIEDACZOW between 1911 and 1925 ?

I took a look at Agnieszka and it looks as if Agnieszka is the only child of John Potocki and Catherine Popek and as if there are 2 Agnieszka.
As you may already know, Agnieszka was born in Passaic. According to the marriage certificate - in the year 1903:

Here, in my opinion, are listed her parents in the 1905 Census:

Again, it looks like they married in the US.
I don't find the Potocki family in the 1910 Census in Passaic.

Thank you very much for this documentation.
As you guessed my request was following a previous search about this family. So I know most of thes documents except 1905 census and arrival of supposed Jan POTOCKI in 1900.
This family, according to the Katarzyna's declaration on her passsport request stay in the USA between 1900 and 1911.
On the Katarzyna's arrival -feb 24, 1900, if you go to the next page of the manifest you can read that Katarzyna at declared she is going to stay with her sister in PASSAIC;
That's the main point of my request : who is this sister ?
More ever she had a brother Marci/Martin borned in 1884 who came too in the US and stay in the New London county, CT where he install a big family with numerous descendants.
As to Agnieszka- borned really in 1906- she came in 1924 with her husband and lived too in the New London County
, CT She died in 2009 at 103 years old ( see obituary on line). Se is survived by a niece Genevieve P YONTA, that's to say Agnieszka has a brother who came too in the US;
That's all my knowledge about this family. Miss two holes I'd like to complete.

Other findings from today confirm the hypothesis of ZIELONKA and village around

a Jan POTOCKI, 16 y old, arrive in the USA on june 2, 1925.
with a us passport n° 596, deliver in Warsaw, april 2, 1925
he is said borned on december 12, 1908 in BROOKLYN, NY
and will stay 159 Wythe Av BROOKLYN, NY

That raise the hypothesis of an Agnieszka's POTOCKA brother.
Have you an access to the passport records past april 1, 1925 ? On Familysearch they infortunately stop their index records on march 31, 1925 .

More ever, it seems the POTOCKI we are talking about could be from STANISZEWSKIE (parish RANIZOW)
so on dec 8, 1908 arive a Jan POTOCKI , 17 y old from STANISZEWSKIE.Verfification done on geneteka, he is stranger to this search.

So the inquiry is going on like you can see.

In this part of Poland, children were usually baptized 2-3 days after birth. Record books were written by priests, so for them the date of baptism was important, especially since the entry regarding the birth of the child was made in the book when the child was presented for baptism.

Sure, I understand and know this. But in this case the date was over 18 or 20 years from the baptism. So i think , if the message I received was translate by automatic softaware , thes date are more likely date of marriage (copulatorum) and decease (zgonu).

As for the dates-annotations next to the baptismal records, I encountered situations that these were the dates of making the excerpts/extracts of the metrics, needed, e.g. for marriage or before departure (to take with you, e.g. to the US).

I checked Polish search engines for burials and graves in search of the Potocki family - here is the cemetery in Raniżów:

Unfortunately there is nothing about my POTOCKI.
The data about their marriage and decease are too much recent to be published .
Only their relatives could give the good information; May be one day these data will appear.
asyou know wth Katarzyna POTOCKI born POEK we share a common ancestor Ignacy POPEK ( 1786-1746), too far to be close relatives.
However The accumulated material allows me to tell a beautiful story like many Polish lived their ameriacan dream.
let's wait to see if luck will smile on me one day
