osoba znana urzędnikowi,

Urzędnik Stanu Cywilnego zapytał każdego z narzeczonych z osobna
i kolejno czy pragną zawrzeć związek małżeński. Gdy narzeczeni
odpowiedzieli na to pytanie twierdząco, wówczas urzędnik orzekł,
iż na mocy kodeksu cywilnego /Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch/ są oni odtąd
prawnie skojarzonymi małżonkami.

The registrar asked each of the fiancés individually
and consecutively whether they wished to marry. When the fiancés
answered this question in the affirmative, then the official ruled,
that under the civil code /Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch/ they are henceforth
legally associated spouses.
