Gawryluk family tree

Hello
I am trying to trace my friends family tree the names I am researching are
Gawryluk (Teodore,Dimitri, Anna,Mickle, Nina)
The name Minsk Mazowiecki is written on one of the photos we have with a date of birth 1913 but not sure if they go together.
Any help would be appreciated apologies its in English but unfortunately I cannot speak Polish

Dimitri could mean Greek Catholic, although it must be noted in the town of Minsk Mazowiecki is still living in 2011 Poland the family surnamed Gawryluk. Please ask your friends also to check invaluable EI (Ellis Island) database, as the ship manifest could tell the main info for all further genealogical search - the place name of the birth/origin of the immigrant. If they have it they can locate the vital records in old Poland finding the correct parish with records. # Anna Gawryluk immigrated in 1899 to NY port by SS Bremen, she was 29 y old, her origin is given as "Bielowec, Austria" (could be old Poland), etc.

# Dimitri Gawriluk (this might be Gawryluk), imm in 1913 as 20 y old, so born in 1893, and his origin is given as "Woroschiz, Russia"

Teodore Gawryluk came to live in the UK after ww11 he was in the free Polish Army. We don't know anything about his life before England and are trying to find out about that and what happened to any family in Poland.

Na rewersie jednej z fotografii Diane znalazła rok urodzenia 1913 i Mińsk Mazowiecki, ale to może być inna miejscowość.

Dzięki za każdą informację! Tak to już jest, że coraz bardziej znana w świecie strona PTG służy też łączeniu rodzin.

Zapomniałem dodać te wszystkie informacje, które zachowały się w rodzinie w Anglii:
Teodor Gawryluk, ur. w 1913 roku (Mińsk Mazowiecki/okolice?), walczył w Wojsku Polskim, potem walczył w Anglii, po wojnie a Anglii założył rodzinę. Imię jego ojca to Dimitri-Dymitr(?) Gawryluk, w Polsce miał brata o imieniu Mickle-Mischa-Michał(?) Gawryluk oraz dwie siostry: Anna Gawryluk i Nina (Janina?) Gawryluk.

Takie zestawienie imion przy nazwisku Gawryluk, to moim zdaniem nie Mińsk Mazowiecki ale raczej Bielsk Podlaski, a konkretnie miejska wieś Widowo. Niestety moje źródła kończą się na roku 1907 (spis spowiadających sie soboru św.Trójcy) i tam Dymitra nie ma.

Na rewersie jednej z fotografii Diane znalazła rok urodzenia 1913 i Mińsk Mazowiecki

szkoda że nie mozna zobaczyć tego rewersu.

Rozmawiałem dzisiaj z moim znajomym Gawrylukiem z koloni Widowo. Niestety takich imion nie pamięta.
Typy ludzi na zdięciach i ich stroje, sa identycne z tymi jakie pamietam z lat 60-tych ubiegłego wieku z okolic Bielska Podlaskiego.
Można by jeszcze zapytac znanego bielskiego historyka Jerzego Hawryluka, którego rodzina pochodzi z Widowa,niestety nie moge znależć jego adresu w internecie.

Yes, please send scans of ALL back pages (please send the last one with "Minsk Maz...." again with the better resolution), seems the messages will be not in Russian but in Ukrainian, as you can see here on our forum there are some friends who can help in deciphering, luckily there would be any name of the family Gawryluk's place.
