I am searching to find out where my grandfather came from, some where in Europe. Kazimer Rudiak was born about 1885 his parents were Casimer Rudiak his wife was Wazila. Kazimer came to Thunder Bay (Port Arthur) Ontairo, Canada at the age 21 in 1906. He married Hastia Halabuski(Halabecki)in 1908 , her parents were Wazil Halabuski and Mazija Slobigan. Kazimer and Anastasia (Hastia) had 3 children Machael Rudiak (Rhoda)1909, Anka (Ann)1911, Maria (Mary)1916. Kazimer had a brother and two sisters Michael Rudiak lived in Cleveland , Eva,Mrs.George Shurbert, Cleveland , and Ann,Mrs William Ruzglo, in Poland. Kazimer farmed near Hymers Ontairo for about 24 years , he also used the last name of Rhoda when on the farm (his son used Rhoda all his life). Kazimer passed away in 1948 at Thunder Bay Ontairo.

Looking for info. on Kazimer Rudiak
Carl,
Nowbody replied, although we want to help all searchers from all over the world looking for family roots in this part of Europe. All I can help for today is the information based on your family names only. With the next your query you must give us the EXACT name of the family place/origin, as all European vital records are basing on the exact place/parish. This name is the most valuable information, please find it with Canadian databases.
Basing on your family names, here are yours with possible original versions: Gpa Kazimierz Rudiak, parents: Kazimierz Rudiak and Wasila? Rudiak nee family Halaburski - her parents Maria Slobodzian from Kazimierz Slobodzian and Anastasia Slobodzian nee family Hastia?
Some family names are giving supposition the family roots are going to old Poland now located in Ukraine/Belarus, and the family religion was possible Greek Catholic.
Your main family name RUDIAK is living in present-day Poland, here the surname map: http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/wzgledny/rudiak.html - there are only 113 Poles surnamed RUDIAK, and yes, the family name cradle would be located in SE Poland on the Ukraine border.
Hope this helps a bit, good luck in your search and life.
Tad

RE: Looking for info. on Kazimer Rudiak
Carl,
But I see our good and very experienced friend Grazyna Feltynowska pointed you up the family origin! Seems it's old Polish town, now located in open and independent Ukraine, here you have the map giving you chance to see your family old lands, roads, woods and small rivers, located north of the town of Chorostkow, you have zoom + and i to see and note more for your Family History Book:
http://travelingluck.com/Europe/Ukraine ... #local_map
Thus, you have a big chance to follow your search, as the GC parish Peremilow is microfimed by Mormons, and you can order microfilm(s) thru your local library from their centre in Salt Lake City, here is the detailed weblink to the microfilm numer: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... eno=838009
Do not forget to research also RC parish in near Chorostkow: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... eno=263992
To finish my homework, please use the EI database search engine with your family surnames: http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/eidb/ellisgold.html? - for eg there are 46! Rudiak's, many immigrated from your family province of Austria/Hungary Empire - East Galicia, please check all data from invaluable ship manifests.
Good luck, and the best greetings from PTG - Polish Genealogical Society.
