Hello everyone,
For several years, I have been working on a comprehensive book documenting my extended family’s history in Poland, spanning hundreds of years and dozens of cities. My research has allowed me to trace branches of my family tree back over 200 years, into the late 18th century.
Before I move forward with publication, I would like to share my draft with anyone who has an interest in Polish-Jewish history, genealogy, or local folklore. I am looking for insights, missing details, historical context, or maps that could enrich this project.
I am particularly interested in connecting with people who have knowledge of:
Historical Context: Local life and community history in specific towns.
Maps & Documentation: Locating historical maps, photographs, or specific street locations.
Genealogical Connections: Cross-referencing family names and ancestral roots.
Key Locations Covered in the Research:
Warsaw & Surroundings: Including Bemowo, Babice Stare, and Opalen.
Other Towns: Sokołów Podlaski, Siedlce, Błaszki, Chmielnik, Ostrów Mazowiecka, Kalisz, Warta , Nowy Korczyn, and Drzewica.
