My last name is Hartke. My relatives say our family came from Tomaszow.

What I know (names can be misspelled):

My greatgrandfather, Heinrich Hartke, was born in 1881. His mother name was Emilie. His father was Wilhelm. He had two brothers: Wilhelm (older) and Bruno (born 1884).

Wilhelm died in Europe, probably between 1884-1898.

Wilhelm (the son), Heinrich, Bruno and Emilie came to Brazil before 1898.

They were lutheran (evangelic), and german speakers.
