Gradzanowo records

Hello,
I have noticed that more and more records are being posted online and scans are available now for a larger portion of the records. I was curious if anyone knew if records from Gradzanowo were being put online, or if anyone knew they already online and under a different region. I'm looking for a 1899 marriage:

It has an act #5, and usually I've found that if the act is listed, the hardcopy exists. I'm trying to find if the marriage certificate lists the parents. I think Weronika Rzesotarski was my great-great grandfather''s sister according to his obituary in the US. I think I found Bronislaw's birth certificate, but am unsure if the parents match. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it list her age? It doesn't match what I found. I thought Bronislaw's mother was named Tekla, according to his birth record. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Not sure if this is going to help or not. Can't find a birth for her yet. Maybe if it says her age, it will help narrow it down.

This Salomea was 10 days old when she died in 1904.

I think I've found your Weronika's birth certificate - # 108. This Weronika Rzeszotarska was born in 1879 in Bojanowo, where the Rzeszotarskis were owners of part of land and her mother was unmarried Salomea aged 35.
The witnesses: Felicjan Siemiątkowski aged 50 and Józef Rzeszotarski aged 25.

This would mean that Salomea was born around 1844. Does that make sense?

I had no record of Salomea until the marriage certificate was translated. The link I followed was an obituary for Bronislaw that said Veronica was his sister. Then matched up the towns and census information, and they lived together in the US for around 15 years. I found the 1899 marriage for Weronika, and it listed Salomea as her mother. The last step would be to find Bronislaw's birth certificate, sometime around 1880-1882. I didn't think Bojanowo had records online for the births. But yes, Salomea could definitely have been born around then.

I checked, and on his passenger list, it says Bronislaw was 23 in 1899. Seems a lot of birthdates got altered near WWI and WWII on the registration card, maybe so they would be just old enough to be exempt. On his WWI draft card, he listed Feb 17, 1877 as his birth. That's seems to match up. On some documents though, it says March 2. On his death certificate it says he was born March 6th 1881. How did you find Veronica's birth? I didn't see it pop up in the search. I see the records for Gradzanowo, but need a bearing to know what needs translated.

I'm guessing that record from 1879 for Weronika is in Russian? And they have an index that appears by town? Very hard to understand even the names.

I tried going into each year(1876-1882) and try to see if the town in her index could be matched up, but had no luck even when I thought I found something.

I think I found the 1878 record for Bronislaw Rzeszotarski's birth. I was wondering if anyone could translate it for me. #28

The records are in Russian.
I randomly searched through chosen parish indexes that are at the end of each chapter (B M or D) in most of the record books, especially in those dated after 1810. Quite a task, actually, to do it thoroughly:)

# 28 Bojanowo

It happened in the village of Gradzanowo, on Feb 23rd/ March 7th 1878 at 4 pm. Katarzyna Szarf, a midwife aged 63, living in Bojanowo, appeared in the company of witnesses Antoni Majerski, aged 40 and Felicyan Siemiątkowski aged 43, living in Bojanowo, and presented to us a male child born on Feb 22nd/ March 6th of this year at 8 am of Salomea Rzeszotarska aged 31, unmarried. At the holy christening performed today the boy was given the name Bronisław and his godparents were Tomasz Gutkowski i Helena Juzikowska.

It's interesting to find this Siemiątkowski guy again, as he was the witness in the case of Weronika's birth - was he related to Rzeszotarskis? And again midwife Szarf delivering the baby, just like in Weronika's case in 1879.

The age of parents and witnesses got mixed up quite often, the priest just wrote what he heard or thought he heard.

As she was unmarried and had 2 children, which I think was odd, it's possible Siemiatkowski was the father? Not sure of relation though. Thanks for the translation. It does differ about 2-3 years on Salomea's birth, so now I'd say she was born between 1844-1848. I double checked all of Bronislaw's known records, and on several his middle name was Felix and he claimed his father's name was Felix. I believe he also named his first child Felix, who died shortly after childbirth in 1904. Maybe Felician was his and Weronika's father? Probably never know. Again, thanks for the translation. Called my aunt and told her I knew where her great-grandfather was from, and she thought I was pulling her leg.
