Hello,

I have a copy of a birth record for Wladyslaw Ciszek - 1902

If I am to search this site for possible family members, what region would apply to Marcisyna?

Father listed on ship record for Wladyslaw was Jan Ciszek

any help would be greatly appreciated

No I am sorry, I do not have any connection to Walter (at this time anyway)

I am very early in researching my Polish ancestry and I have little to no information to work from other than the odd birth certificate or Ship record into Canada.

It maybe a Maruszyna located near Nowy Targ (which confirms data on pax record), this villiage is located in our mountain area

unfortunately I am not sure you can find any records on line from this region but I might be wrong...
