Poszukuję wszelkich informacji o przodkach z obecnego powiatu nakielskiego [woj. kujawsko-pomorskie]. Interesują mnie nazwiska Rozpłoch, Wencel, Harasimianek [Harasiemianek, Harasimianko], Jaskólski, Skupyń, Datka, Szymański. Jeśli ma ktoś w swoim drzewie te nazwiska, związane z okolicą Nakła nad Notecią, Wyrzyska, Kcyni, etc. proszę o kontakt.

Monika,
My great grandmother was a Datka. Many of the records with the Datka name are from Panigrodz, but there are several from Kcynia. Most of my information came from a site called the Poznan Project: http://poznan-project.psnc.pl/

I don't know how closely related the Datka's from your tree are related to mine, but they are from about the same general area in Poland.

Regards,
Adolph

Hello Adolph! Thank you for answer.
I know this site "poznan-project", but thank you.
My great great grandparents was a Datka too! I mean, my great grandmother had maiden name Datka, so of course her parents too (my great great grandparents was Datka). My great grandmother's name was Zofia Datka, after marriage Wencel (Wenzel). She lived in Nakło nad Notecią (Nakel an der Netze), she was born in 1901 and died in 1969. BUT I don't know first names of my great great grandparents, I only know about them that they were probably living in Sipiory (it's near Kcynia too). Names of siblings of Zofia was: Helena (after marriage Kubicka) and (unkown first name) Lewa (after marriage). Maybe there was more siblings, but I don't know about them.
There's some curiosity about Lewa, cause they were parents of very popular scientist, Czesław Józef Lewa (born 1934). But well, he isn't my close family ;) I just know that my grandmother (so his cousin) was once in Gdańsk, where Lewa family was living :)
You said about Panigródz, yes, there's very possible that all that people from poznan-project searching are my family, because I know that my grandmother had cousins in Palmierowo (its; very very close to Panigródz) and my great grandmother was sometimes working in Palmierowo in some farm.
Adolph, can you tell me first names of your Datka's? Or some facts about them if you know?

Monika,
Thank-you for responding.
I made a mistake in my 29.11.2015 response. My grandmother's maiden name was Datka.
I found a Panigrodz census from around the early 1890's that lists her family. Her name was Katherine and was born in 1878.
Her parents were Walenty (1837) and Helena (1846, maiden name Potulna). Her siblings were Konstancia (1867), Barbara (1872), Stanley (1874) and Phillip (1880). I accessed the census from "szukajwarchiwach.pl" and searched Panigrodz. It was on scan 10 of the 1892 - 1923 Panigrodz Stary Seelenliste. I found another Datka family on scan 28 of the 1876-1891 Panigrodz seelenliste.

Konstancia was married to Joseph Lenz in Panigrodz in 1887, and they later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. My grandmother, Katherine married Joseph Kurlinski while in Poland. I haven't been able to find that record. They came to the USA in April, 1905 and settled in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. They listed the town they came from as Bogdanowo. Phillip also came to the USA. I contacted his granddaughter, Gloria Ludka but she could not provide anymore information on the Datka family.

If I happen to find a Zofia Datka as I continue my research, I will get back in touch with you.

Kind regards,
Adolph John Rydzewski
