Nazywam się Chris Barszcz, wnuk Feliksa Barszcz urodził się w Polsce w 1897 roku do Mikolay (ur @ 1861) i Katarzyna (Bandzul) w Gawricji (z jego karty naturalizacji).
Wszelkie prowadzi do braci i / lub sióstr Mikolay zostałaby doceniona. Uważam, że rodzice Mikolay są John Barszcz i Katarzyna Getek.
Jestem bardzo wdzięczny za wszelkie informacje mogą być w stanie dostarczyć.

You're grandson of Feliks Barszcz. He was born in Galicja (Galicia) look here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galicia_(Eastern_Europe)
So that was a huge region and you should find a parish where your grandfather living.
Your ggrandfathers were Mikołaj Barszcz and Katarzyna nee Bandzul (this is wrong spelling name).

Write in Eng, people understood in English.

I have a photo of a 1935 US Census card where Mikolay indicated his birthday was 08 December 1861 and he was working as fireman in a cotton mill. Also have the page from the MV Gneisenau arriving in New York City on 26 December 1908 listing Mikolay's family. I haven't figured how to attached a file from the pc yet...

I've also have, somewhere here, a copy of Felix's birth certificate which was ordered when Felix retired and was required to provide proof of his age. It turned out he was four years older than the family thought.

My grandmother spoke of cousins in New Jersey and Michigan, but at the time I didn't follow up with the names. Too late now.

I think that Monika has right with Feliks birth certificate.
I looked at your pic about Anthony and probably he was born in Gawrychy, Zbójna parish (Zbójnia-Gawrychy a distance 5 km) and they emigrated from Gawrychy not Galicia.

here you can check how many records of surname Bandzul are in geneteka: http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php ... e&lang=eng
As you can see there are some such records especially in two regions of Poland: Podlaskie and Mazowieckie Voivodeships. So probably it is correct spelling.
