Hello,
I am trying to find a birth record for my grandfather Stephen Sutkowski born April 14, either 1881 or 1882 in Gietke, Poland. He came to the United States in 1901 to stay with his step-brother Anthony(?) Poreda in Providence, Rhode Island. He could read and write English according to the ships manifest. He married Teofilia Barszcz (my grandmother). Monika found information for my cousin Joanne DeChants regarding Katarzyna Barszcz (Teofilia’s sister) born in Kuzie, a village near Gietke. I see the records for Zbójna parish start in 1892. Maybe there are records in one of the nearby Lomza, churches. I do not speak Polish, and will use Google to translate this. This is a wonderful site. Thank you in advance for any help.

Gietki belonged to Mały Płock parish. That parish is not on-line. Microfilms from Mały Płock have Mormons.

And at last I looked at Zbójna parish.
There are three families of Sutkowski in birth records :
- Józef and Teofila nee Łempicka lived in Gawrychy: children - Aleksander (1894),Władysław (1896),Aleksandra (1899)
- Wojciech and Marcjanna nee Poreda lived in Poredy: Stanisław (1894), Stefan (1896),Roman (1898)
- Franciszek and Stanisława nee Jesionkowska lived in Poredy: Wacław (1893),Franciszek (1897)

Information on couples of Sutkowski from Zbójna marriage records:
- Maciej Sutkowski and Katarzyna nee Gawrych: their daughter Weronika (born in Poredy)get married of Franciszek Parzych in 1895
- Stanisław Sutkowski and Weronika nee Mrozek : their daughter Katarzyna (born in Poredy)get married of Antoni Chojnicki in 1896; and their son Józef (born in Poredy) get married to Teofila Łempicka in 1893.
