Help with Baranowski and Nowaczik name

Hello
Can someone please help me find the names of the parents of my great grandparents?
Józef Baranowski born around 1865-1879
Waleria Nowaczik born maybe 1870-1880.
I know my grandmother was born 1915 in Jasiewo village Grudziądz county and her sister was born in Wolf serve Torun.

I have seen some Józef Baranowskis on geneteka and another genealogy site but not so sure because they are a bit more to the west of Poland but it is possible it is him. Maybe I should see if Grudziądz county has records? Maybe look for marriages from the 1890s ? I have seen no instances of Nowaczik anywhere. Thanks.

Hi,
Nowaczik does not sound Polish. It was originally probably Nowaczyk or Nowaczek.
Jasiewo is probably located in Parish and USC Gruta.

Try to find it on www.genealogiawarchiwach.pl

There is a chance that the year 1915 is in the USC (Civil Register Office) and not in the archive.

What is "Wolf serve Torun" BTW?

Hello. Thanks for the response. Wolf serbe kreiss thorn (not serve.sorry was typo) is the German name for small towns in the Torun area when it was part of Prussia in the late 1800s. That was where a sister of my grandmother was supposedly born. As for Nowaczik I suppose it's possible it was misspelled and was supposed to be Nowaczek or Nowaczyk. I have used the site before it's a bit confusing and very general. Baranowski i found some instances on geneteka and a few sites but hard to say if its the correct jozef baranowski. I do know he was married to waleria Nowaczyk (czek or czik)... Im not sure what USC Gruta is? And I just signed up to this site and still learning it I will look to do a signature when I can. Thanks.

The page genealogiawarchiwach can be confusing but in has the copies of the records for your area of interest.

The second place is probably Wolffserbe / Gronowo
The Parish was in this village. But USC probably in Lubicz.

Baranowski name is very popular. Looking in geneteka without additional info makes little sense.
You should look for marriage or for birth certificates but in this case only if you know places and dates.
