Hi
My Name is Max Michael Viol. My Grandma was a born " Dörfer", she was born in 1905 in Kotzenau( Chocianow).
I seems that this family was styaing a long time before in Kotzenau and it has a lot of members. The major problem i have is that they al where evangelic or lets Protestant. I was told that all the paperwork before 1945 from the evangelic Church was destroyed from russians at 1945 in Breslau. Is this true?
Is there a chance that the katholic Church has some datas from evangelic Persons have in there books.
Here are the Names and dates i have.So please reply direct to my e-mail if anyone can asist with search in Poland.Or if anybody knows something from these familys
