I have received the attached letter from NHA Belarus, Minsk. I am trying to find my father's birth certificate for 1911
Could you please explain whether the Archive is saying it does have records for the years 1910-1912 and they are available, or not?
What does it mean by stored in the archive are not available?

Сообщаем, что в архиве на хранении имеются метрические книги о родившихся по Забрезской церкви, к приходу которой относились жители православного вероисповедания д. Малая Дайновка Ошмянского уезда Виленской губернии (в настоящее время – д. Малая Дайновка Забрезского с/с Воложинского района Минской области Республики Беларусь), за 1921-1929 гг. В данных книгах встречаются лица по фамилии Радивилко.
Метрических книг о родившихся по Забрезской церкви за 1900-1920 гг. в архиве на хранении не имеется."

We would likle to inform you that the Archive has baptising books of 1921-29 about Zabrzezka church, where we have Orthodox people of village Malaya Dainowka [and current name/location of this village]. In these boox we have mentions of family Radivilko.
There are no baptising books about Zabrzezka church of 1900-20 in our archive".

1. don't start a new thread every time you have a question, but stick to the one you've already started – this way you increase your chances that it will be noticed and read by the right member.
2. don't be ashamed to give precise data of the person you are (re)searching (unless you have good reasons to do so) – it may happen that some one else is looking for exactly them.
Yes, they do have roman catholic registers from Zabrzezie from the years 1910 to 1912, they checked them and they didn’t find the person you are looking for. They did an extra search in the books of the Zabrzezie orthodox church from the later years and there they found records for the members of the Radiwiłko family. But they don’t have the registers of this orthodox church from the period 1910 to 1912.
What denomination was your father? Can you be sure he was born in 1911? Are you sure he was baptized in Zabrzezie?

Sorry still learning the forum.
Until I received the letter from the archive, I did not realise my father, Sergiusz, was Orthodox. My father emigrated to Australia in 1949 after spending most of the war in labour camps. He died in 1974 aged 63. The only documents he had were ID cards from the labour camps and an ID card issued by Gminy Zabzezie in 1937. The place and year of birth is correct (Mala Daynowka), other than that I have very little information. Replies from archive departments, NHA Minsk, NHA Grodno, ZA Molodechno, do not have records for the year of my father's birth.
Any suggestions for locating documents would be appreciated.

1. The ancestors of your father were most probably not Orthodox at all, but greek-catholic:

Members of this churched were forced back to the Orthodox church in 1839.
2. Scan and post the documents you have here on this forum. I'm not knowledgeable about questions related with greek-catholic/orthodox churches, but there are people here who are. It is not possible to upload the scans here; you need to place them on some other server and embed a link in your post here. Describe all you know.
3. Change the title of the post (that's possible) to something like:
"Name Surname, born 1911, Oshmiana, probably Orthodox – asking for help"
