Dear all,

As a new French member, I'd like to introcude myself as a genealogy passionated.
At the moement I work a some cousins branch which seems to drive me directly in Poland (Or Ukrainia)...

I would like to ask you where I can search or apply in order to find my grand-grand-family which are 4 people I’m looking for. I dont have the place they were born, but I know some information thanks to my grand parents.
Grand-grand-parents 1: Theodore DUDA and Julia KOWALIK
Grand-grand-parents 2: Wolodimir SAROKA and Michalina PISONCZYK |
Then the Grand-Parents:MichałDUDA and Severine SAROKA

What I have from them is the FRENCH document they get when they emigrate to France:
Michał DUDA: was born 09/11/1934 in Werchrata, Horyniec-Zdrój, Poland
Severine SAROKA: was born 11/05/1936 in Kniażyce, Poland
They were married: 16/11/1963 in Górowo Iławeckie, Poland

So, if you can help in telling me WHERE I could find the informations for DUDA x KOWALIK and SAROKA x PISONCZYK , I would greatly appreciate!

Thanks for your help.
Looking forward for your answers

Best Regards,

Tristan

You didn't write what confession they were
Roman catolics from village Werchrata belonged to Potylicz parish.
In the Werchrata archive they have acts from Potylicz parish:
births 1786 - 1959
marriages 1795 - 1959
deaths 1788 - 1959

Your villages are not "digitalized", I'm afraid

Górowo Iławieckie, Urząd Stanu Cywilnego (USC):
e-mail: umgorowo@gorowoilaweckie.pl, tel. 89 762 70 32

Werchrata parish: http://www.parafiawerchrata.pl/kontakt

Kniażyce - USC in Fredropol: usc@fredropol.pl
http://fredropol.pl/102-urzad-gminy.html

Polish law: documents "younger" then 100 yrs are available only to close family.

I should still have an old printed phonebook with Górowo Iławeckie addresses, maybe they're there. I'll let you know tomorrow (private message).

My cousin is the close family... she's the direct grand'daughter of the people I'm looking for...
What should I ask her to do?
Thanks for your help!
