It [the marriage] occurred on the 21st February 1865 in Przedecz, at 6 in the evening. May it be known, that in the presence of Michał Grams of Wawrzyniec, aged 31, and Michał Schmidt of Józefów, aged 22, farmers, was made on this day the religious and civil marriage between:
Jan August Bylow, bachelor aged 23, evangelical, born in Malin, son of Michał, farmer, living there, and Wilhelmina nee Schmidt, living with his parents, and
Wilhelmina Spletzer, spinster, aged 19, evangelical, born in Bierzwienna, daughter of Wilhelm, farmer living in Kortyka, and the deceased Juliana nee Hintz, living with father.
This marriage was preceded by three banns in the evangelical churches in Przedecz and Babiak on these days: 29th January, and 5th and 12th of February of this year.
Protest to the marriage did not occur. Verbal permission from the present-during-the-act father of the bride was given.
The newly-married couple state that a pre-nuptial agreement was not made. This act was read aloud for the newlyweds, the witnesses, the father of the bride, and all those present illiterate.
