Hello,

Could someone please tell me if the Monika Kowalczyk in these 2 records is the same person? I believe her daughter Anna was born without naming a father but can't tell the relationship of the other men listed in the akt. The marriage record indicated she married an unrelated Kowalczyk, I think.

unfortunatelly based on these 2 acts you can't be sure if Monika Kowalczykowna is the same person.

date: 9th July 1817
witness: Józef Kowalczyk, 28, living in Parciaki
mother: Monika Kowalczykowna, 24 (Kowalczykowna in maiden version of Kowalczyk surname, so it means she was a daughter of Kowalczyk), living in Parciaki
child: Anna, born on 8th July at 8 a.m. in house no. 9
other witnesses: Jan Parciak, 40, Piotr Parciak, 40, both living in Parciaki

None the men is Anna's father. There is nothing said who the witnesses were and what's the relationship with Monika Kowalczykowna.

date: 31st January 1819, 1 p.m.
groom: Tomasz Kowalczyk, 25 (based on act from Baranowo parish), son of Michał Kowalczyk and Ewa nee Lenarciak, with their assistance, living with them in Kucieje
bride: Monika Kowalczykowna, 26 (based on act from Baranowo parish), daughter of Wojciech Kowalczyk and Elżbieta nee Parciak, with their assistance, living with them
witnesses: Tomasz Kowalczyk, 50, Jan Zygmunciak, 51, both living in Kucieje, Wawrzyniec Prusiak, 58, Marcin Parciak, 37, both living in Parciaki
