Hi, I recently managed to find my grandfathers alien card which says he was from Niespodzianka, Poland. He was born in 1928. Does anyone have any idea where this town was or how I can go about finding it?

Hard to say, without knowledge of local history, where Niespodzianka village was located. It probably does not exists today, but according to above data from "Słownik Geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego", it belonged to Rembertów parish:

Skoryguj proszę podany link, aby nie zrobić poszukującemu przykrej Niespodzianki, kierujący do właściwego Rembertowa, który leży po przeciwnej stronie Wisły.

If it was in 1928, I would rather exclude Rembertow parish (South of Warsaw). No metrics from such village before 1916 and no signs of such village on current maps (however there is village called Pamiątka near Rembertow which might have similar to Niespodzianka origin).

Nevertheless I would rather sugest SE Poland (with borders berfore WW2): Niespodzianka Inn near Przemysl/Sierakowice? or Niespodzianka three small villages near Rowne/Tuczyn (link to mpa below) - both probably don't exist anymore.
