According to my records, my grandfather was born in Mlawa, Poland. His parents sent him to the US when he was 15 years old to avoid being drafted into the Russian army. I requested his birth certificate and received it from an office in Warsaw but I am unable to read it. A Polish friend was unable to translate it. My goal is to find out information about my grandfathers parents and siblings, locate graves, locate their former home and find living relatives. Ideally, some research would be done before we arrive. I am looking for a genealogist who might be able to help me.
