Skorowidz do aktów urodzeń, małżeństw, zgonów -- What is it?

I see in the archives in Pultusk is the following:

sygnatura: 79/266/0/20
tytuł i daty: Skorowidz do aktów urodzeń, małżeństw, zgonów.; 1642-1808
opis: księga; stan dobry; rękopis; ; polski; k.187; ; ; ;

Skorowidz means "Index" in English, but I do not know exactly which information is in these Skorowidz. For example, I am searching for a marriage in 1775 in that parish. Would the Skorowidz list the names and date of the marriage? (e.g. Jan Kowalski + Bozena Zawadzka on 4-Mar-1775)?

If anyone knows which information is kept in the Skorowidz, please post here.

Proponuje zmienić translator - trudno cokolwiek zrozumieć!

Grant - the answer is: it depends. Usually you'll find names, surnames (sometimes only surname of the groom) and number of record in skorowidz. Sometimes date or place as well.

Dziękuję Marcinie za pomoc .
Sam korzystam z niego przy tłumaczeniu z angielskiego i przyznaję że to tylko szybkie przybliżone tłumaczenie.
Ale doświadczenie uczy że zawsze ktoś kto lepiej umie wchodzi do pomocy.
Oczywiście chodzi o to że księgi indeksowe ułożone są według nazwisk a nie zapisów według dat i szybko odszukuje się tom i stronę np po dacie aktu.
Jeszcze raz dziękuję za pomoc.
