Janice,
Here is the help from Polish Genealogical Society genforum:
I. Supposingly you have researched the parish Sierakowice (not Sierakewice) books from the 19th century, and found your Dawidowski's records there, giving you the name of the ancestor's origin as Dawidowo? If yes, you must show us this record (please send a scan to my website Narodowa.pl help room:
http://www.help.narodowa.pl - the email is: narodowa @ narodowa.pl (while typing please cancel the empty spaces). Thus, we will check it, and help you in telling which Dawidowo would be the correct one, and where you can search further genealogical records.
Anyway, your Gowidlino/Sierakowice parish books are available in the US with FHL/LDS microfilms from the years 1706-1875:

II. If you would ask about the family name in 2010 Poland in this Gowidlino, so beatifully located in north Poland amongts small mountains, woods, and on the wonderful lake (I was there few time with my family spending splendid summer vacations) I can tell you same wonderful information, in these Gowidlino and Sierakowice are still living Poles surnamed Dawidowski!, for eg:
1. Jacek Dawidowski, the village of Gowidlino, Poland
2. Jan Dawidowski, the village of Gowidlino, Poland
and few Dawidowski's in this village/parish Sierakowice
You can find their phone numbers with Polish white pages:
www.ksiazka-telefoniczna.com
Finally, please be kindly invited to have the virtual trip to your Dawidowski's homeland in Poland, please see their lands, and local road from Gowidlino to their family church and parish Sierakowice, where all your ancestors were baptized, married, and burried in the local cemetery located at the church, where they were going every Sunday all year to attend the every week family holy mass, you can just try to image their life and journeys in the 19th century Poland:
