Hello,

I'm from Germany and sadly do not speak any Polish so I hope it's ok if I
refer to English.
I am looking for relatives of mine, I have many Ancestors from Poland and I wonder if I should post the search for them in the separate forum or all together in one post?
They are from totally different areas, one side being from the Rybnik area,
the other from Sztum area.
If you could lead me the right way, that would be nice.

Are you looking for ancestors or living relatives?
If you mean ancestors, it's most convenient to look for them by name.
For example, the surname Kowalski.
Go to Nazwiska (surnames)

Rybnik Area means actually Niewiadom, Radoszowy Górne and Gaszowice and there the names are Hink, Papczok, Ryschka, Bugdoll, Brzoza, Hübner and further to the west in Zytna/Raszczyce I have Gawron, Syrnik and again to the west in Nowa Wieś Głubczycka there it's Hink and Sissel. Years are so far 1800-1920 approx as then one part of my family went to Germany, the other stayed behind in Poland.

Actually I'm looking for people with the same ancestors like me. I know I have definitely closer family still living in the Radoszowy area as my great grandmother wrote letters with them up to 10 years ago when she died. So there are cousins who never got replies anymore and probably want to know what happened. But I also would like to have exchange about our family trees, therefore it would be great to find people with the same ancestors in their trees My line is quite advanced as I had help from a
Polish Genealogist for the Sztum area. Sadly I don't know so much about my family in the Rybnik area- so any info I get there would be great I would post all the data I have, I just have to know if I shall do that here in one thread or if I should rather post it in the area groups?
However thanks for the tipp with the name database, I will add mine to that if it's possible.
