Obtaining death certificate from Warsaw USC via e-mail

Forgive me, today I'm writing in English because I need someone to explain this to me like I'm a toddler.
I need my great-grandfather's death certificate. He was born in 1889 and died sometime after 1939 -- I have a document of his from February 1939. He lived in Warsaw.
I know I need to provide proof of kinship, and I have all that: my own birth certificate from Warsaw, my father's from Warsaw, and my grandmother's 1912 birth entry from par. św. Stanisława in Warsaw. I also have my great-grandfather's birth akt from par. Proboszczewice.
Where can I direct this query to maximize my chance of obtaining an answer? I know in Warsaw I could physically go to any office but unfortunately I'm in Texas so it has to be in writing. Do I just e-mail usc@um.warszawa.pl and hope for the best? Is there a particular branch where I'm more likely to receive help?
Many thanks, i można odpowiadać po polsku.
